Sound in the Silence 2023: recruitment results are in!

According to the rules of the Sound in the Silence project, the jury have chosen schools for the project in the year 2023.

Schools qualified for the House of the Wannsee Conference edition in Wannsee (Germany) on 3–10 October 2023:

1. Secondary Vocational School of Economics, Varaždin (Croatia)
2. “Spiru Haret” National College, Tecuci (Romania)
3. “Komisji Edukacji Narodowej” Secondary School, Przasnysz (Poland)
4. Irena-Sendler-School, Hamburg (Germany)

Schools qualified for the Jasenovac Memorial Site edition near Jasenovac (Croatia) on 16–23 October 2023:

1. European School Munich, (Germany)
2. “Gheorghe Chitu” Economic College, Craiova (Romania)
3. “Komisji Edukacji Narodowej” Secondary School, Przasnysz (Poland)
4. “Lucijan Vranjanin“ Gymnasium, Zagreb, Croatia

Thank you for all the applications and congratulations to schools that qualified!

During an open recruitment to the 'Sound in the Silence' project, 27 schools submitted their applications. 2 applications did not meet formal requirements. The jury assessed 25 applications from nine EU countries and selected 7 schools. 2 applying schools were placed on the reserve list.
